1. Get Baking

What would the fall season be without delicious baked pies?  While we enjoy pie throughout the whole year, there is just something particularly scrumptious about those piping hot homemade pies during the autumn months.

Whether you want apple, pumpkin, or cherry, the pie options in fall are endless.  When in doubt, get online and check out the many fall recipes and delicious baked treats.  You will have a mouthwatering pie by the end of the night to share with friends, family, or just to enjoy all by yourself.

2. Go to a Pumpkin Patch

Just like you can’t have summer without the Jersey Shore, you can’t have fall without a visit to the pumpkin patch.  You might need a pumpkin for your holiday decorations, baked goods, or for your Thanksgiving dinner, so make sure you stock up on your pumpkins.

Not only do you get to spend time picking out the perfect pumpkins, but you can spend QT with friends and family.  Nothing will put you in the fall spirit faster than going to a local pumpkin patch.  And let’s face it, your friends are waiting for a pumpkin picture on your Facebook account.

3. Go Apple Picking

New Jersey singles don’t have to spend fall wishing for a partner—not at all.  You can get out of your house and visit an apple orchard.  After all, fall is all about apples and pumpkins, so it’s time to get out and pick some for yourself.

Not only will you have quality time with friends and family, but you’ll learn to do new things with apples.  From making pies, baking desserts, and creating festive drinks, you’ll be able to create your own Food Network show in your very own kitchen.

4. Invite Your Friends for an Apple Bobbing Contest

Want to have some real laughs and fun this fall season?  One of the oldest fall festivities is bobbing for apples.  Come on, you know you used to do this one when you were a kid, right?  Who said you can’t go at it again?

5. Make Candy & Caramel Apples

If bobbing for apples isn’t your thing, then why not make candy apples instead?  You can turn them into deliciously sweet snacks and give them to your friends and coworkers.  Go online to get some creative inspiration—chopped nuts, sprinkles, caramel, anything you like.

6. Burn Fall Scents at Home

This might not be a thrilling fall activity, but it’s something you can do every night after work.  The smell of a fall fragrance will help you relax after a tough day at the office, and there is an endless array of fall scents you can indulge in this autumn.  You can even burn your favorite candle while relaxing in a bubble bath and drinking your favorite wine or chilled apple cider.  The top fall scents are cinnamon pumpkin, pumpkin pecan, autumn marshmallows, and pumpkin pie.

7. Carve a Pumpkin

You already picked yourself a few pumpkins at the local pumpkin patch, so now it’s time to put them to good use.  Whether you do it by yourself or invite a friend or family member over, there is nothing better than carving a pumpkin for Halloween.  And don’t forget to save and roast up the yummy pumpkin seeds for a healthy and delicious snack.

8. Dress Up for Halloween

One of the best activities for New Jersey singles this fall is dressing up and going out for Halloween.  You can hang out with friends, meet new people, and maybe even meet a new love interest.  Don’t pass up on the fun of a Halloween costume party at work or with friends.  So tell us, what are you going to be this year?

9. Go to a Football Game

Oh, America’s favorite sport, football is already in full effect.  Who doesn’t love it?  Make sure you grab tickets to your favorite team or check out the local high school games on Friday nights.  If you’re dating, this is a great date idea to get into the spirit together.

10. Visit a Haunted House

There is nothing like visiting a haunted house or spooky hayride during Halloween.  Whether you go with friends, family, coworkers, or with a date, a haunted hayride or haunted house is sure to provide tons of screams and lots of fun all around.

11. Go to a Corn maze

While you’re at the haunted house, be sure to check out the corn maze.  Some venues have haunted corn mazes, which are perfect to get into the Halloween spirit with a date or just with close friends.

12. Have a Fall Picnic

Although fall in New Jersey can get cold quickly, there’s no rule that says you can’t enjoy a picnic in the outdoors.  You can go on a picnic with a friend or a date and enjoy all your fall favorites together.  Bring your favorite wine, apple cider, and some of your delicious homemade fall treats to share the love.

So tell us, do you have any other fun fall activities you enjoy every year?  We would love to hear from you.
